Family News Update 10/31/2009 We had a great time at the 2009 NC State Fair. It was a difficult decision to make this, our 39th year, our last in the Village Of Yesteryear. The Village has meant a great deal to three generations of the Trantham Family. It has been an honor to work with the excellent craftsmen there, and to get to know so many people. We wish to thank all those who have made this experience so wonderful. Emily is a 2nd year teacher with the Haywood County Schools with a special needs classroom. She is doing a great job. Adam is currently deployed with the Marines in Afghanistan, but we hope to see him over the holidays. Sara is a junior at Tuscola High School. She is learning the hammer dulcimer and singing. Mom and Dad are well. Papa continues to build instruments, so let us know if you are interested in a dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, banjo, guitar or psaltry. The Trantham Family will be playing this coming year at the Waynesville Street Dances and local folk festivals. If you have a chance, come to the mountains to see us. Keep in touch. |
